Strawberry season is here! The u-pick is open, and the berries are looking great! We are having pickers come on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Please call soon to arrange for a day that works for you. Lots of people are hoping to pick, so get your name on our calendar now! We will fill the calendar to the end of July, and see from there how long they last. We will update as the season progresses.
A few more details....
We ask that you pick into a 4 litre bucket, as that is our unit of sale. The price is $15/pail.
Please bring your own pails. If you are not able to bring your own, we have buckets for you to pick into, and then we'll transfer the berries into your containers or boxes.
When you call, we will ask how many pails you are hoping to pick. That gives us an idea how many pickers to get for that day.

Just for fun....
2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Cut the butter into the flour and sugar mixture.
Set aside 1 cup of these crumbs.
1 cup milk
2 tsp baking powder
Pour into ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
Sprinkle the 1 cup of crumbs over the top.
Bake at 350*F for 20 minutes, or until the first sign of brown.
Cool, and cut into 12 pieces.
Top each piece with whipped cream and a large scoop of sliced, sugared strawberries!
